Young Community Languages GCSE courses
Free GCSE language courses
Starting September 2026, Tower Hamlets Young Community Languages (YCL) will offer free GCSE courses in Bangla, Arabic and Mandarin for young people living in the borough.
Classes will take place at weekends, with students given the opportunity to take their GCSE examinations through recognised exam boards.
- Venues: Idea Store Whitechapel, Idea Store Chrisp Street, Idea Store Watney Market
- Languages: Bangla, Arabic and Mandarin
- Age range: 11-16 years
- Day: Sundays
- Time: 11am to 2pm
- Start date: 13 September 2026
