If the help, support and services detailed in our Adult Health and Wellbeing pages don't meet your needs then you might benefit from additional help from Adult Social Care.

When thinking about whether additional help would be useful, ask yourself the following questions:

• What you would like to be able to achieve?
• What difference would achieving that make to your life?
• What has changed recently in your life?
• What options have you considered?

Support from Social Care

Adult Social Care supports adults of all ages, disabilities and backgrounds. The team helps people to live happy and fulfilling lives, mainly through support at home and in the community.

If your situation is serious or urgent you should contact us on 0300 303 6070 (9am-5pm, Mon-Fri) and you will speak to someone from Tower Hamlets Connect.

When you get in touch with Tower Hamlets Connect, they'll ask you about the reason for your call and have a discussion with you.

They'll identify the best options available to help you. This could be accessing community based support, getting some equipment or referring you for a more in-depth assessment.

Arranging support from Adult Social Care for someone else

If you're planning to contact Adult Social Care on behalf of someone else then you'll need to make sure that they know you're planning to do so.
