Gardening is a simple way to improve your physical health and mental wellbeing.

We have community food gardens in many of our neighbourhoods, offering spaces where you can grow your own fruit and vegetables, spend time outdoors, and build connections with your neighbours.

 If you would like to join a community food garden in your area, please contact the Resident Engagement and Partnerships Service.

If there is not a garden in your neighbourhood, we can work with you to develop one. We will:

  • Check if there is a suitable space
  • Consult with residents
  • Support you to apply for funding
