Tenants and Residents Associations (TRA's)
TRAs are a great way to get involved in your local community and have a say in how your homes and neighbourhoods are managed. They bring residents together to represent shared views, raise concerns and work with the council to influence decisions.
They can organise activities, events and initiatives that bring people together, promote inclusion and support the wellbeing of residents.
Joining or starting a TRA is a positive way to make a difference in your area and help build a stronger, more connected community.

Tenant Management Organisation (TMO)
TMO’s are set up by tenants and/or leaseholders to take on the management of their homes or estate. This can include services such as repairs, maintenance, and day-to-day housing management.
Council tenants in England and Wales have the legal right to manage the housing services they receive, giving residents the opportunity to play a more direct role in how their homes are run.
