Join a group of residents who work closely with the council to review performance, influence improvements, and ensure housing services are delivering for the community.
The Resident Scrutiny Group meets bimonthly to examine key issues, hear from senior staff, and make recommendations that drive real change.
Join the Resident Scrutiny Group
We are currently recruiting 8 tenants, 3 leaseholders and 1 tenant of a leaseholder to join the group.
No formal experience is needed, just an interest in improving housing services and a willingness to take part in strategic level discussions and reviews.
We are looking for a diverse group of tenants and leaseholders who are passionate about making a difference and representing the views of their community.

A more committed role
This group involves a regular commitment, with meetings held bi-monthly.
As a member, you will:
- Attend structured meetings throughout the year
- Review service performance and data
- Take part in discussions with senior housing staff
- Contribute to reviews and improvement work
Members may also get involved in:
- Task and finish groups to co-design services
- Scrutiny sessions focusing on specific issues
- Putting forward recommendations for improvement
You’ll receive regular updates and insights to support informed discussions and decision-making.
