Housing Options Resident Focus Group

Have you recently contacted us for housing options support? This could be for advice, homeless temporary accommodation, or help finding a permanent home.

If so, we would like to hear from you because your experience can help us make our services better.

We are launching the Housing Options Resident Focus Group, where residents can openly share their experiences and offer feedback.

By joining, you’ll have the opportunity to:

• Participate in focused sessions to identify and share what has worked for you
• Highlight areas where we can improve
• Help create a more compassionate, efficient, and responsive Housing Options service for everyone
• We will test new forms and letters with you to get your input on key areas like clarity and ease of use.

By taking part, you’ll be playing an important role in shaping the future of housing support in Tower Hamlets, for yourself and your community.

What’s involved

Participants of the focus group will need to commit to attending fortnightly meetings, both in-person and online options are available, for a duration of six months.

Travel Expenses and Refreshments

All travel expenses to take part in the sessions, including standard-class public transportation, will be fully reimbursed. Refreshments will also be provided to ensure a comfortable environment for all participants.

• Accessing housing advice and support
• Applying for homelessness assistance
• Experience with temporary accommodation
• Housing allocation process and decision-making
• Overall customer service and communication

Your insights will play a key role in shaping service improvements and making the Housing Options process clearer and more responsive to residents' needs.
