Monitoring report

The annual Monitoring report provides an assessment of policy performance. Under the plan-monitor-manage approach, monitoring plays a crucial role in evaluating policy performance, understanding policy implications and formulating robust policies The council has published an annual Monitoring report since 2005. Reports can be viewed below.

Five year supply of deliverable housing sites

The National Planning Policy Framework requires local planning authorities to identify and maintain a five year supply of deliverable land for housing.  The council’s latest five year supply assessment is set out in the document below.  The assessment takes into account known completions in the borough at the end of March 2016, with the “five year period” covering 1 April 2016 to 31 March 2021. The report can be viewed below:

Local Development Scheme

The Local Development Scheme (LDS) is a live ‘project plan’ setting out over a period of three years, which Local Plan documents will be produced and when.

As a live project plan, the LDS will be reviewed as and when required, to reflect changing local priorities. The LDS can be viewed here:
