Monitoring and programme reporting

The annual Monitoring report provides an assessment of policy performance. Under the plan-monitor-manage approach, monitoring plays a crucial role in evaluating policy performance, understanding policy implications and formulating robust policies The council has published an annual Monitoring report since 2005.

Housing Delivery Test (HDT)

The Housing Delivery Test (HDT) is an annual measurement of housing delivery within each local authority.

It is published by the government and sets out a number of responses required by each authority to achieve housing targets.

Local Development Scheme

The Local Development Scheme (LDS) is a live ‘project plan’ setting out over a period of three years, which Local Plan documents will be produced and when.

As a live project plan, the LDS will be reviewed as and when required, to reflect changing local priorities.
