Applications for 2026 to 2027 will open in April 2026
If you live in Tower Hamlets and have a household income that is less than £50,350 you might be eligible for the Council Tax Cost of Living Relief Fund.
Eligibility
To be eligible your household must:
- be named on the Council Tax bill
- not receive Council Tax reduction
- have less than £50,350 combined household income - this is the amount earned before any deductions
- have less than £16,000 combined household saving
- have been living in Tower Hamlets and named on the Council Tax bill since before 1 April 2024
What you will need to complete the form
- Your council tax account number
- Evidence of your total household income
- You will find it useful to have your Council Tax bill to hand
