Young @ Heart

A weekly programme of activities for the over-50s, offering the opportunity to take part in sport and physical activity leading to a healthier lifestyle. Come along to make friends and try a new activity in a relaxed, social environment.

St Hilda's Social Club

If you are 50 or older come to St Hilda's Social Club for talks and workshops in the morning and exercise sessions in the afternoon. Refreshments are put on and there's no need to book ahead.

Every Tuesday from 10am to 4pm at St Hilda's East Community Centre. See the flyer for full details.

Walking Netball

Just like netball but running is against the rules so the focus is on fun and more tactical play, so anyone can play together regardless of age or fitness level.

Every Monday from 12 - 1pm at Poplar Baths Leisure Centre. £2.10 per session.

Chair based and gentle exercise

If you're not sure what your level is and want to start slowly then look no further:
