This is a collection of five 10 minute stories on kindness. Each presents a challenging contemporary issue.

Earth – Forgiveness, empathy, reconciliation. Leaving family behind, a hopeful migrant embarks on a journey to the UK.

Metal – Forgiveness and Healing. A Bengali Hindu journeys to the UK. He faces microaggressions, both from the majority back home and in a new land.

Air – Emotional or relational healing. High-skilled migration was once seen as an escape to a better life. It becomes a battleground of work permits and constant pressure.

Water – Personal Acts of Kindness. In this new land, survival is more than visas and jobs. It is about finding identity, fighting prejudice, and holding onto friends and family.

Fire – Kindness as Resistance. Palestine cries, children weep, women get raped and innocents die. People and crops are dying.

These stories outline the psychological experiences and struggles of the actors. The minimalist setting enhances the words that demonstrate the human condition. This promenade piece leads the audience between performance spaces walking around the bazaar.
