Women only event

This workshop is for women who want to see more relatable stories being told. This workshop is particularly relevant to the South Asian and Bangladeshi experience. All are welcome including those who’ve never had the opportunity or confidence to delve into theatre.

The writer of Still Life (with Mangos), an award-winning British Bangladeshi play, will lead the workshop. It will begin with an informal discussion around the portrayal of women on stage, screen and page. She will then share the inspiration behind her play's characters. Participants can take part in a short script read with Bangla and non-Bangla speaking roles.
