Exemption permit terms and conditions

General terms and conditions

1.1   This exemption permit applies only to residents, resident (Blue Badge Holders), registered/unregistered carers and Local GPs located within the designated boundary of the Bus Gateway or Liveable Street scheme.

1.2   This exemption permit does not allow you to park on street, however it allows you to drive through the approved Bus Gateway or specific Liveable Street Schemes.

1.3   You must live within the designated boundary of the Bus Gateway or Liveable Street scheme to drive through the restrictions

1.4   You must provide all documentation required for an exemption permit

1.5   Your documents must show your full name, address and vehicle registration number

1.6   You must contact us immediately if any of your details change, or you no longer require an exemption, by logging onto your account via the portal and making the necessary change.

1.7   Your permit may be cancelled without prior notice if you breach any of the terms and conditions and you will not be eligible for a refund.

1.8   We reserve the right to request at any time any exemption documents to check that you continue to meet the exemption requirements.

1.9   We reserve the right to change the terms and conditions by giving you 28 days’ notice via our website or email.

1.10   There is a cost associated for the application of an exemption permit , this fee is non-refundable even if your application is rejected due to eligibility.

1.11   If you cancel or no longer require the exemption permit you will not be eligible for a refund.

Resident

2.1    The applicant can have up to 3 vehicles for the exemption permit, with each vehicle subject to the cost of the permit per year.

2.2    The exemption permit will only allow access to one Bus Gateway or Liveable Street scheme which has been approved.

Resident (Blue Badge Holders), Unregistered Carers and Local GP exemption permit

3.1    The applicant can only have one vehicle for the exemption permit.

3.2    The exemption permit will only allow access to one Bus Gateway or Liveable Street scheme which has been approved.

Registered Carers exemption permit

4.1  The applicant can only have one vehicle registered for the exemption permit

4.2   The exemption permit will allow access through all Bus Gateways and Liveable Street schemes.
