Tower Hamlets Council has announced its Summer of Fun 2023 programme, providing free activities for children, young people and families during the school summer holidays.

The jam-packed programme is designed to give children and young people opportunities to explore their local environment, enjoy the outdoors, participate in physical activities, and increase their engagement with arts and culture. It includes sport, residentials, excursions, learning opportunities, farm visits, stay and play sessions, youth focused events and much more.

The council is working in partnership with a range of organisations including youth centres, farms, adventure playgrounds, and arts organisations, to deliver the programme.

Many of the activities offer a free meal, supporting families who may be experiencing hardship, especially during the long school break and when the cost-of-living crisis is impacting families.
