Fire safety at work

In the event of a fire or suspicion of a fire, you should telephone 999 and ask for the fire brigade. These calls are free of charge.

The London Fire Brigade also enforces fire safety law under powers awarded to them under Regulatory Reform Fire Safety Order (RRFSO) 2005. Find out more about the RRFSO.

The London fire Brigade also give advice about fire safety and carries out various emergency-planning activities.
