Visitor vouchers
You can now get virtual visitor vouchers online.
If you have already been approved for visitor vouchers, log in to activate them.
Documents you will need to apply
You must include one proof of current address. Vouchers are issued free of charge to residents who have a daily carer or aged 60+ , so you must also include one proof of age or proof of carer document.
Proof of residency document
You can provide any one of the following documents to prove your name and address:
- UK Driving Licence
- Council Tax letter for the current tax year
- Department for Work & Pensions Benefit letter dated within the last 12 months
- Gas or electricity bill or letter dated within 12 weeks of your application
- Broadband or landline telephone bill dated within 12 weeks of your application
- General Practitioner (GP) letter dated within 12 weeks of your application
- National Health Service (NHS) letter dated within 12 weeks of your application
Proof of age document
You can provide any one of the following documents to prove your age:
- UK Driving Licence
- Passport
- Pension letter from Department for Work & Pensions
- 60+ London Oyster Card or Freedom Pass
Proof of carer document
You can provide one of the following documents, dated within the last 12 months, as proof of the benefit you receive:
- Attendance Allowance award letter
- Disability Living Allowance letter
- Personal Independence Payment award letter
In addition, to show that the carer lives at a different address, please provide one of the following documents showing their name and address:
- UK Registration Certificate (logbook)
- Car Insurance Documents
How do I get visitor vouchers?
- To apply for any permit, you must first register and then set up an online account.
- After you register you will receive an email with a link to verify your email address.
- You then need to set up an online account. Make sure you select ‘Resident’ as the customer type.
- Select the right visitor voucher type – paid or free (over 60s or carer).
- You will then need to complete each section and upload your documents.
- After you submit your application it will be checked within three working days.
- You can only buy or get free vouchers after we approve your application.
Activating visitor vouchers
- Log into your account.
- Click on the buy/use tab.
- You need to buy or obtain vouchers to let you activate them.
- If you have already bought or obtained vouchers then you can activate them.
- Once you have bought the vouchers, you will need to activate them by filling in your visitor’s vehicle registration and the time. Make sure you enter the vehicle registration correctly.
- Activated vouchers can be deactivated before the start time.
- You will not receive a voucher to display on the vehicle. Instead, parking officers will be able to check on the system if a vehicle has a valid voucher.
