Leisure centres

The borough’s seven leisure centres offer a wide range of hall, court and pitch hire opportunities.

Online booking is available via the Be Well website for group exercise classes and badminton courts where available.

For bookings on the artificial pitches at Mile End Stadium and John Orwell Sports Centre please contact the relevant centre, details for which can be found on our leisure facilities page.

Parks

There are numerous basketball, netball and tennis courts located within the borough’s parks.

For most of these facilities, usage is free and there is no need to book except for tennis courts which are operated on a pay-and-play basis.
