Can I apply for a permit?
You can apply for a permit if your address in the borough is your sole or main residence where you live for a minimum of 4 nights a week.
If you live in a car free property you are only allowed a maximum of three books in a year, unless you are a disabled blue badge holder or you have a carer visiting you on a daily basis.
How do I apply for a permit?
You need to fill out the visitors’ scratchcard application form and terms and conditions and provide one proof of residency, such as your council tax reference number.
How much does the scratchcards cost?
- A book of scratchcards costs £16
- There are 10 scratchcards in a book
- A scratchcard is valid for 6 hours.
There is no charge if you are aged 60 years or over or if you have a carer visiting you on a daily basis.
Where can I park?
A scratchcard is only valid in the mini-zone that you live, and in parking bays signed:
- Resident Permit Holders Only
- Permit Holders only or
- Permit Holders or Pay at Machine.
