16 Days of Activism against Gender Based Violence

White Ribbon Day, observed on 25 November, marks the start of the 16 Days of Activism - a global campaign dedicated to eliminating gender-based violence and abuse against women and girls. Throughout this period, the council and our partners unite to raise awareness, challenge harmful attitudes, and highlight the support available for victims as well as those seeking to change abusive behaviours. We’re hosting a number of events during the 16 days and encourage residents, staff, and partners to get involved.
