Somali Week Festival is hosting a combined book launch and conversation with the author. The book is "Qaraami: the fading out melody of Somali classic music", 2023 by Dr Jama Musse Jama. Dr Ahmed Ali will follow this up with a presentation. This will focus on the scientific usefulness of Somali plants, frankincense, and its commercialisation. The night will close with Qaraami Live Music Night performed by a mix of foreign and Somali musicians.
