Join us at the Ecology Pavilion for a family friendly event to mark the African History Season thanks to support from the Mayor of Tower Hamlets.
Recognising the Global Afrikan is open to the public from all communities. There will be a community market. This will feature stalls from Tower Hamlets’ Afrikan-led voluntary and community sector as well as businesses. There will be dance and drumming workshops. There will be history presentations. There will be poetry, spoken word, music and food from Global Afrika.
This is an opportunity to celebrate the Afrikan contribution in Tower Hamlets through history and culture.
