This October, Black-Owned Makers Market is back as part of Poplar Union’s Black History Month celebrations. And this year, the market will carry on into the evening with live music.
Here you will find a variety of black-owned and run start-ups and businesses. Products and services range from clothing and accessories to the finest health and beauty products.
This market is open to all but is a celebration of all the wonderful Black-owned businesses who are part of this event.
No need to book, just turn up!
Excitingly, the first performance of the evening will be from singer/songwriter Takunda Garwe. Takunda has a a decade-long journey behind him. He stands as a musical storyteller whose melodies and heritage intertwine with effortless grace.
